Notācōl Calixtlahuatle (My Grandfathers Ranch)

My grandfathers ranch was filled with Cactus, he would take a pale and his pocket knife and walk through the huertas of nopales and cut down the fruit of prickly pears and tender nopalitos for me during my pregnancies. I can still see him walking slowly with his nice 1940’s hat down the dirt pass.
